Friends of Internationals (FOI) is a Christian organization open to all students on the campus of University of South Alabama. The goal is to make every person feel valued, welcomed and to build meaningful relationships across cultures and nations regardless of age, race or religion and to “Make Friends Around the World“.
This website exists as a social connecting tool for students from various nations living in the Mobile, Alabama area.

After returning from Pakistan, Jim and Mary Mather came to University of South Alabama (USA) to help International Students at USA as leaders of FOI. Over the years they have developed relationships from almost the entire globe including thousands of students. They provide a loving and friendly environment for students.
Richard and Nivi, originally from Hyderabad, India, came to Mobile as international students at the University of South Alabama. Richard works in Mobile as an engineer and Nivi cares for their daughter, Anya. Together they serve on the leadership team of Friends of Internationals.
